No matter how bad your day has been, if you have a dog you will always be greeted by a happy face when you get home. Who can’t be moved by those eyes that are all expression and by those tail movements that say more than a lot of words?
Dogs in all their formats have always seemed to be incredible to me. Elegant and beautiful animals (the same as cats, whom I also have a great affection for). Drawing them always amuses me and puts me in a good mood.
Appearing dogs as companions of the characters in my illustrations has been a constant in my work since my beginnings. 101 Dalmatians is one of my favorite animated films and a great source of inspiration when it comes to illustrating people’s interaction with their pets. A drawn dog makes the illustration more memorable, dynamic, fun and tender.
This series of three illustrations in medium format, printed on Creative Smooth 285 g/m² matt paper is a tribute full of humor and glamour to those loyal friends who will always be by your side and who may destroy your shoes, your clothes or your pillow, but will never break your heart.
