Fashion and advertising illustrator, Jordi Labanda is recognized for his unique style, always in gouache on canvas for numerous international collaborations.

As an editorial illustrator and trends chronicler, he contributes regularly to iconic publications from the fashion and lifestyle world such as Vogue Japan, Bergdorf Goodman Magazine, Apartamento, Fanzine137, Candy, Harper’s Bazaar or El Magazine de La Vanguardia (Barcelona). His illustrations have also been featured in publications such as Wallpaper, Vogue USA, Visionaire and The NY Times Sunday Magazine, among others.

As a comercial illustrator, Labanda has collaborated with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Moncler, Neiman Marcus, Knoll International, Grand Marnier, Nissan, L’Oréal, American Express, Reebok, Zara, Adidas, Pepsi Light, Compeed, Target, Danone, Lladró, Swarovski, Alessi and Vodafone.

His work has been internationally shown with shows at museums and galeries from Tokyo, Paris, Barcelona, Florencia, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.

Part of his work has been compiled in bestsellers such as “Heyday” (RM editorial house) which contains a prologue by Tyler Brûlè. Currently, Labanda is working on a new compilation book expected to be launched in 2016 with a Manolo Blahnik preface.

Jordi’s iconographic silhouettes have been applied for more tan 15 years in several girls stationary and household products.
